Defence
Once again, the draft was held in Congleton with all 12 owners in attendance. Paul had retired to commissioner-only duties and was replaced by Richard, while Wayne made his draft debut after taking over Myke's team following the 2006 draft. The first three rounds were again filmed as trading continued throughout the early rounds, leading to possibly the longest draft in FFL history. In all, there were seven trades in the first round alone, including Richard trading his first overall pick, acquired by Martin, who selected Adrian Peterson. Many hours later, Lee closed proceedings by picking Michael Pittman at no. 240.
