The venue this time round was down South as Phil, Tone and Myke entered the world of credit cards and jellied eels, even though Surrey is not exactly Cockney country. Rob Shaw was again unable to join us so he employed Ceri Dovey as his GM for the day, entrusting the Giants fan with his selections. Oh dear. Ceri was full of stick for everyone else at the start of the draft, but after 12 rounds, when Rob's roster was full of tight ends and gaps, the stick turned the other way and the self-styled Draftnik found himself with some explaining to do on the phone to a large police officer! He naturally threw his toys out of his pram, stormed off home and hasn't been heard from since! This was the day of six of the first seven picks being traded, and Phil somehow taking Thomas Jones with the first pick when Daunte Culpepper was available. Nice one Phil.
